With the world's increasing demand for 'clean energy' and a global undersupply of LPG compared with strongly increasing demand, Transworld has entered into discussions with a view to securing strategic investment in Asia-Pacific gas resources and down steam supply.

With Queensland attracting considerable attention to its coal seem gas resources and new reserves being proven all the time, it is hardly surprising to see British Gas take a strategic investment in Queensland Gas and look to play a part in the heralded proposed new processing plant and export facility planned for Gladstone.

With Transworld's established Queensland presence and existing interest in gas projects through its Bangladesh venture, expect to see us play a future role in the processing and export of gas supplies from Australia.
